Settlement Schedule

All the card transactions you process with Yoco are paid to you by Yoco directly into your bank account. This is the account associated with the bank account details you fill in on your Yoco Business Portal. The amount we settle to your account will be less our transaction fee. 

What do I need to be settled?

In order for us to settle your account, you need to have: 

  • Provided us with your bank details in your Yoco Business Portal, by navigating to Business > Bank Account.
  • Sent a copy of your FICA documents to fica@yoco.co.za (proof of residence and certified copy of your ID).
  • Transacted a minimum amount of R 15.00 in card payments on your Yoco card machine. 

Settlement timings:

The end of the banking business day is 7 p.m. This means that all the transactions you process using your Yoco app before 7p.m. each day will be available for settlement within 2 business days thereafter. Transactions you process using your Yoco app after 7 p.m each day will be considered to be part of the next days’ transactions and will therefore be available for settlement within 3 business days after the date of the transaction.

Sundays and public holidays are not considered banking business days. The process to settle money into your account will only start the next working day. 

Please note: Settlement payouts happen the day Yoco transfers funds to your bank account. Not the day the funds are received into your bank account. Please allow 1 or 2 banking business days for the funds to reflect into your business bank account.

Minimum settlement amount: 

In order to get settled, you need to have transacted a minimum of R 15.00 (before fees are deducted) since your last settlement. 

You can view all your estimated settlements at any time by logging in to your business portal and clicking on the 'Settlement' tab under 'Transactions' in the main menu (Transactions > Settlements).

The settlement calendar in the settlement tab indicates how much was settled to you on each calendar day, with details of each settlement payout.
